Feeling overwhelmed? I hear you—and I want to share three gentle, science-friendly practices you can try between sessions to shift how your nervous system responds.
1) Brief hypnotherapeutic reframe: Pause. Take 60 seconds to close your eyes and "tune into" your Breath, breathing in "Slowly & Deeply" as you allow those words to echo through you... then repeat a calming phrase (I am safe, I am steady, I anchor into my Breath etc.) Whatever feels good and right for You.
Research shows short guided reframes can reduce anxiety by interrupting automatic threat reactions.
2) Reiki Energy healing breathwork pattern: inhale for a four count
ng through your chest—this simple rhythm calms the Vagus Nerve and often Lowers stress markers immediately.
(I've shown my clients the power of this technique in a visual way with the use of biofeedback tools. It's Amazing!)
3) Everyday Intuitive Check-In: Amidst the go go go... Practice the Pause before what would normally have been, what I like to call, an "Autopilot decision" to tune into the intuitive guidance of your body. Place one hand on your heart and just notice... Is there a sensation, a full body yes, a clenching of yuck, or a slight pull forward? Explore with a curiosity, from a place of non-judgement... Just for a moment to see what you notice—this simple pause, has powerful reconnective qualities for subconscious signals to bring awareness to conscious choice and supports smoother transitions energetically.
